After taking a few classes & encouraged my an advisor, website design has become one of my newest friends. I have had the pleasure of working on a few special projects since picking up the skill.
During the spring of 2018, the team of After the Storm placed in the top 20 for a Hearst Journalism Award.
Ole Miss in Sri Lanka placed 2nd in Digital Story Telling in the Society for News Design College Contest.
After the Storm placed 3rd in Digital Story Telling in the Society for News Design College Contest.
Students at the Meek School of Journalism and News Media traveled to Texas in Sept. 2017 to cover Hurricane Harvey Relief. After they returned, I was asked to be a part of the storytelling. Visit the website I designed here.
I had the pleasure of visiting Sri Lanka in August 2017 with the Meek School of Journalism and News Media. With a group from Ole Miss, we spent two weeks covering everything from culture and history to how the country has recovered from a 30-year civil war. I had the chance to write as well as design a print magazine and website.

In the spring of 2018, Katherine Beck Gifts of Oxford reached out to me about revamping their website in preparation for sorority recruitment in the fall. As a continual project, I have helped the store make their website for accessible for parents to order items for their children as well as browse their current selection. Anyone can view their site for updated items when they are unable to make it to the store. I have also worked with their social media and other marketing items to introduce a new brand, Katherine Beck Greek, that will be used with events related to sorority recruitment. You can visit their site here.
